Get Back to Work Safely. Get Back to Your Life.

A workplace injury to your hand or wrist affects your health, your family, and your livelihood. We provide timely, expert surgical care in conjunction with WorkSafeBC, focused on restoring your function, minimizing your time away from work, and getting you back on the job with confidence.

We Understand the Needs of the Working Hand

The demands on a worker’s hands are unique. Your job may require a combination of a strong, pain-free grip for powerful tasks, combined with the fine dexterity needed for detailed work and the manipulation of specialized tools. We recognize that an injury isn’t just a medical issue; it’s an economic one. Our entire approach is designed to restore the specific functions you need to reclaim your livelihood.

Our Guiding Principle

“Timely, accurate care minimizes wage loss and impact to employers while quickly returning workers to their employment and hobbies outside of work.”

This core philosophy drives our entire approach. We are committed to providing efficient and effective care to ensure you can return to work safely and without unnecessary delay. We believe that we gain far more from our work than just income, and an early return-to-work in some capacity has been repeatedly shown to lead to better outcomes: early return-to-work is good medicine.

Comprehensive Care for a Range of Injuries

Workplace hand and wrist injuries are as variable as the unique environments that each of us works in. Unfortunately, our extremities are closest to the tools we use, conveyor belts we may work on, and the complex machinery we work with, that they are one of the most commonly injured body parts on work sites. Only once an injury occurs and the hand or wrist is dysfunctional do we truly come to appreciate just how important the human hand is in all aspects of our lives, not just our work.
